A visit to Lake Pepin is never without inspiration.  There runs the river.  Reminiscent of bygone days, buggy rides, fresh baked pies and time spent with family and friends.  Then, there's the harbor.  Not unlike the one in Kennebunkport, Maine and the rolling fields and farms, like much of New England back country.

The house sits up on a hill to peer curiously at the harbor, the river, the barges, the distant bluffs, proud but not pompous.  A Summer Place is a home to share.  A special place for distant travelers, who need more than a bed and/or breakfast.  A place to find inspiration and bring some back to share, wherever it is one calls home, with those who are important.

Stroll in the garden.  Toast the beauty of the evening on the Sunsets Deck.  Enjoy a fine meal.  Browse the galleries.  Explore the beauty of the nearby Mississippi Valley villages.  Soak your cares away in our double whirlpools.  Rest on our feathered bedding.  Slip under our luxurious comforters and float away to inspired dreams.
